What it is

Social media management is the whole job, not the posting.

Social media management services cover everything it takes to keep a brand's social media working: deciding what each account is for and who its audience is, making the content, publishing it, answering the people who respond, and checking whether any of it moved the business.

Scheduling is the smallest part. A tool can publish a post at nine on Tuesday. It cannot decide whether Tuesday's post should exist, film it, or answer the customer who asks about shipping underneath it.

We are a social media management agency for DTC and ecommerce brands and for local businesses, and we work on the two social platforms where their buyers spend the most time. You keep ownership of the accounts, the content and the data, and you approve every post before it goes out.

What our social media management services include.

Eight parts. A social media plan that leaves one out is a posting service, and we say so when we quote.

Social media strategyOne page
  • Who the target audience is, in one sentence a stranger would understand.
  • Three or four content themes, each tied to something you sell.
  • What we stop doing, which usually frees more time than anything we add.
Content calendarFour weeks ahead
  • Every post with its format, topic, hook and the day it goes out.
  • Launches, seasons and stock built in from your side.
  • Room left open for things that happen that week.

The first ninety days of social media management.

Social media marketing cannot be judged in a month. This is the order we work in, and what you have in hand at each point.

  1. 01Audit and access. We read the account through the same eight areas as the social media audit. You add us with a role in Meta Business Suite or TikTok Business Center. We never ask for a password.
  2. 02The social media strategy, on one page.Audience, themes, formats, rhythm, brand voice and the one number we will judge the work by. You change it until it is right, then sign off.
  3. 03The first calendar.Four weeks of posts, written and designed, waiting for approval. Footage we need from you is listed shot by shot.
  4. 04Weeks five to twelve.Publishing, replies, a weekly note and a monthly report. Each month the calendar keeps what worked and drops what did not.
  5. 05The ninety day review. What changed against the starting audit, and a plain recommendation: continue, change the scope, or stop.

A week of social media management.

The rhythm of the services stays the same, so you always know what is coming and when you are needed.

WhenWhat we doWhat we need from you
Start of the weekRead last week's posts: retention, saves, shares, profile visits and every comment. Adjust this week's posts if something stood out.Nothing.
MidweekProduce next week's content: edit video, design carousels, write captions.New footage or product photos, if the calendar asked for them.
Before the weekendSend next week's posts for approval, with a short note on what changed and why.Approve, or mark changes. It usually takes a few minutes.
Every dayReply to comments and messages inside the agreed hours. Hand over orders, complaints and press.Answers to the questions only you can answer.
Once a monthThe written report and the next four week calendar. What is coming in the business: launches, stock, events, closures.

Who does what.

Social media management services fail when this is vague. So it is written down before we start.

OursYours
The plan, the calendar and every idea in it.The final word on all of it.
Editing, design, captions, covers and scheduling.Raw footage and photos of the real product, place and people, shot from our list.
First replies to comments and messages.Anything about orders, refunds, pricing exceptions or complaints.
Reading the numbers and saying what they mean.Sales and booking figures, if you want reports tied to revenue.
Working through roles you grant and can remove.Ownership of the accounts, the ad account and everything published.

What the social media report says.

A performance report is useful when it changes next month's plan. These are the social media metrics that do.

We reportBecauseWe leave out
Reach among non followersIt shows whether content is finding new buyers or circling the same audience.Impressions as a headline. The same person seeing a post four times is not growth.
Retention on videoThe second where people leave is the next edit to make.View counts on their own. A view can be under a second long.
Saves and sharesThey mark content people found useful enough to keep or vouch for.Likes as a measure of quality.
Profile visits, link and button tapsThis is where interest turns into intent: website, shop, call, directions.Follower count as the goal. It follows from the rest.
Engagement that means somethingComments with a question, replies to stories and messages show an audience that is paying attention.Engagement counted as one number, where a heart and a buying question weigh the same.
Questions asked in comments and DMsThey tell you what to post next and what your product page fails to explain.Engagement rate without context. It falls as reach grows, which is good news.
Sales or bookings, when you share themIt is the only number the business actually runs on.Any claim that social caused a sale we cannot trace.

Where social media sits in your marketing.

Social media marketing does not work alone. Most of what it earns is collected somewhere else, so we plan the joins as part of the management.

It connects toHowWhat we set up
Your website and product pagesSocial creates the interest, the page closes the sale. If the page does not answer what the video promised, the visit is lost.Links per post, a link page that matches the current content, and notes for you on pages that lose people.
Email and SMSFollowers belong to the platform. A subscriber list belongs to the brand.A reason to subscribe, given its own story and highlight and repeated on a rhythm.
Paid social advertisingOrganic posts are a free test of creative. The winners make better ads than anything written as an ad.A monthly list of posts that earned a budget, handed to whoever runs your ads.
Customer serviceCustomers ask in comments and DMs first, because it is faster than email.Saved replies, agreed hours and a handover, so social media becomes a working service channel.
The shop or the front doorFor local businesses the goal is often a visit, a booking or a call, not a click.Location tags, action buttons, opening hours kept current, and content that shows the place as it is.

Social media management means different work on each platform.

Part of the jobWhat it doesHow we run it
The profileIt works as a landing page. Strangers read the name, bio, highlights and pinned posts before anything else.Rewritten once, then reviewed every quarter and before each launch.
ReelsThey reach people who do not follow you yet.Two or three openings tested per idea, judged by retention.
CarouselsThey teach, and they get saved and shared.Product education, comparisons and answers to repeated questions.
StoriesThey keep the people who already follow, and they sell.A steady rhythm with polls, question boxes and product links.
DMsBuying questions often arrive here rather than in comments, where they are easy to miss.Saved replies, agreed hours, and a clear handover to you.

Each platform has its own page, with the formats, the rhythm and the work in detail: Instagram management and TikTok marketing.

A tool, a freelancer, a hire, or an agency.

There are four ways to get social media managed, and all four are reasonable. They solve different problems, and the wrong one is expensive at any price.

OptionGood atWeak atChoose it when
A social media management toolScheduling posts across platforms, one inbox, basic analytics.Everything before and after the publish button. You already make good content and only need order.
A freelance social media managerOne skill done well: editing, design or writing.Covering the whole job, holidays and sick days. You can brief, review and direct the work yourself.
An in house hireKnowing the product and being in the room.Doing strategy, video, design, copy and replies as one person.Social media is central to the business and there is a full time workload.
A social media management agencyThe whole job, from social media strategy to reporting, with a method and someone accountable for all of it.Being inside your business day to day.You want it handled, and you can give clear answers once a week.

The pricing page compares what each of these costs to run, including the costs that do not show up on an invoice.

Do it yourself

Managing social media for a small business in a few hours a week.

If social media management services are not in the budget yet, this is the routine we would follow in your place. It is the same method, cut down to what one person can keep up.

  1. Pick one social media platform. The one where your audience already is. A second account run badly takes time from the first.
  2. Write the account's job in one sentence. Orders, bookings, walk ins or wholesale leads. Every post is judged against it.
  3. Fix the profile once. Name field with what you sell, bio with who it is for and what to do next, link, highlights, three pinned posts.
  4. Choose three themes. For example: the product in use, how it is made, answers to questions. Rotate them.
  5. Batch once a week. One hour of filming gives a week of clips. Editing the same day keeps it from piling up.
  6. Post on a rhythm you can keep for a year. Three good posts every week beat a daily burst followed by silence.
  7. Answer every day. Ten minutes, morning and evening. A fast reply to a buying question does more than a new post.
  8. Look at numbers once a week, not daily. Sort by saves and shares, and watch where your videos lose people.
  9. Once a month, keep one thing and drop one thing. That is the whole strategy review.
  10. Once a quarter, run the audit checklist. It catches the slow drifts that weekly habits miss.

When the routine works and the hours run out, that is the right moment to hand it over, because there is now a method to hand over.

Who these services are for, and who they are not.

A good fit

A DTC or ecommerce brand with a product people can see in use. Small businesses whose customers check Instagram before they visit. A founder or a small team that has run the account themselves, knows it matters, and has run out of hours.

Not a fit

A business with nobody available to approve posts or send footage, because we will not publish guesses. Anyone who wants a follower number by a date. Personal creator accounts, and products or claims we could not defend in a caption.

What we will not do on your account.

Each of these is sold somewhere as social media management or as growth marketing. Each one costs the brand more than it gives.

  1. NoBought followers, likes or views. They do not buy anything, and they teach the platform to show your posts to the wrong people.
  2. NoBots, follow and unfollow, engagement pods. They break platform rules and put the account itself at risk.
  3. NoPosting without approval.Your name is on the account. Nothing goes out that you have not seen.
  4. NoGuaranteed growth.Nobody controls the feed. We promise the work, the method and an honest report.
  5. NoHolding accounts or content hostage. You own everything. If we stop working together, you remove our role and keep it all.

Three ways to start.

Our social media services are built to be taken in this order. None of them commits you to the next.

How we think about the work.

The guides are written by the person who would run your account. Read them before you talk to us.

Questions

About our social media management services.

What do social media management services include?

Strategy, a content calendar, content creation, captions, publishing, community management and reporting. Paid advertising is a related service that is usually quoted separately. If a quote covers only scheduling and posting, it is a posting service, and the rest of the work stays with you.

How much do social media management services cost?

One platform is $900 a month and both platforms are $1,500, with white label at $700 per client account. The price depends on the number of platforms, how much video is produced and how many hours of replies are covered. The pricing page explains each of these, and what to check when you compare two quotes.

What is the difference between social media management and social media marketing?

Social media marketing is the goal: using social platforms to build a brand and sell. Social media management is the daily work that gets there: strategy, content, publishing, engagement with the audience, and reporting on performance. Agencies use the two terms loosely, so compare the list of work, not the label.

Do you need my passwords?

No. We work through roles in Meta Business Suite and TikTok Business Center, which you grant and can remove at any time. If an agency asks for the account password, ask why a role would not do.

Who creates the social media content?

We plan, edit, design and write it. The raw material is real: your product, your place and your people, filmed by you from a shot list or directed by us. We do not fill an account with stock footage.

Will I see posts before they go out?

Always. Each week's posts arrive for approval before they are scheduled. You can approve, edit or drop any of them.

How long until social media management shows results?

Profile fixes and faster replies show within weeks. Reach and sales from content take longer, because each change needs a few weeks of posts to judge. We review at ninety days against the starting audit, and we say so if it is not working.

Is there a minimum contract?

No minimum term. Plans run month to month with thirty days notice on either side. We recommend judging the work at ninety days, because a single month shows very little. The terms are on the pricing page.

Do you manage Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest or YouTube?

No. We manage two social media platforms, Instagram and TikTok, because a social media manager is only as good as their hours on the platform. Instagram posts can be mirrored to a connected Facebook Page from the same tool, but we do not plan content for Facebook.

Do you reply to comments and messages?

Yes, within agreed hours and in an agreed voice. Orders, refunds, complaints and anything sensitive are handed to you at once, with the context attached.

Do you run ads as part of management?

Management covers organic content, and it includes telling you which posts have earned a budget. Running the campaigns is a separate service, paid social. Ad spend is always paid by you to the platform.

What happens to the account if we stop?

You remove our role and keep everything: the accounts, the content, the source files and the reports. We also hand over the current plan and calendar so the next person can continue.

Can you work with our in house person or our agency?

Yes. Some businesses keep community management in house and hand us content creation. Agencies can use the same service under their own name through white label.

Do you use AI to make content?

We use software for transcripts, subtitles, rough cuts and research. The ideas, the writing that goes out under your name and every reply to a customer come from a person. We do not publish generated images of products or people.

Start with the audit.

Send the handle. We reply by email with a written read of the account, and a quote for management only if you ask for one.
