What it is

What white label social media management is.

White label social media management means another team does the social media work and your agency sells it under its own brand. Your client sees your name on the strategy, the content calendar and the monthly report. They never hear ours.

The term covers two different things, and the difference matters. White label software is a scheduling dashboard with your logo on it. A white label service is people doing the work: planning, producing, posting, replying and reporting. This page is about the second.

It exists because most agencies are asked for social sooner or later. Web studios, SEO agencies, PR firms and brand designers all hear "can you also run our Instagram". Saying no sends the client to a competitor. Hiring for it is a risk before there are enough accounts to fill the role.

What we do, what you do.

A white label partnership works when the line between the two is written down. This is ours.

How it runs, account by account.

Every new client account follows the same five steps, so your team always knows where things stand.

  1. 01Agreement between us.A partner agreement with confidentiality and non solicitation. It is signed once and covers every client you bring.
  2. 02Intake.You send the brief, brand assets and goals on one form. We come back with questions for the client, which you pass on.
  3. 03Access.The client grants roles in Meta Business Suite or TikTok Business Center to an address on your domain or a neutral one. No passwords.
  4. 04The monthly cycle.Calendar, approval, production, publishing, replies, report. Deadlines are fixed, so you can promise dates to your client.
  5. 05Review.Every quarter we review the account with you: what to keep, what to change, whether the scope still fits.

Confidentiality, and who owns the client.

These are the questions every agency asks before outsourcing. They deserve plain answers.

QuestionOur answer
Will you contact our clients?Never, unless you ask us to, and then under your name.
Will you approach them later? No. The partner agreement includes non solicitation, during the partnership and after it.
Will you name our clients as your work? No. White label accounts never appear on our site, in our sales material or in conversation.
Who owns the content and the files?Your client, through you. Source files are handed over on request and when an engagement ends.
What if a client finds out? Many agencies tell their clients that they work with specialist partners. We are comfortable either way. It is your decision.

Reselling social media management: pricing and margin.

We do not set your prices. This is how agencies usually build them on top of a partner's rate.

Part of your priceWhat it coversWhat to watch
The partner rateOur fixed monthly price per client account, by scope: $700 a month, with volume pricing from three accounts.Compare scope, not price: number of videos, story days, reply hours, revisions.
Your account managementYour time on briefs, approvals, meetings and invoicing. It is real work. Price it, or the margin disappears into unpaid hours.
Your marginThe return for owning the relationship and the risk.A margin so thin that one extra meeting erases it. Build in room.
ExtrasAd spend, creator fees, stock, paid tools the client needs.Passed through at cost and billed to the client directly where possible.

We will not publish a "typical reseller margin", because we have not measured one. Our pricing page shows how direct plans are scoped, which is a fair starting point for building yours.

White label, hiring, freelancers, or referring.

There are four ways to answer a client who asks for social. Each is right for some agencies.

OptionGoodHardChoose it when
White label partnerA finished service from the first client, with no payroll. You depend on the partner's quality and deadlines. You have demand for social but not enough to fill a full time role.
Hiring in houseFull control, and the knowledge stays inside. One person rarely covers strategy, video, design and copy.Social is becoming a core line with steady volume.
FreelancersFlexible and affordable for single skills. You become the project manager and the quality control. You have a strong lead who can direct them.
Referring it outNo delivery risk at all.You give away revenue and part of the relationship.Social is far from what your agency wants to be known for.

How to vet a white label social media partner.

Ask us these too. A partner who answers them well will also treat your clients well.

AskWhy it matters
Who exactly does the work? Some providers resell to a third team. Each layer adds delay and loses context.
Can I see a full sample: strategy, calendar, report? The documents are the product your client will see. A logo on a dashboard is not.
Which platforms do you actually know?"All of them" is rarely true. We do Instagram and TikTok and say so.
What are the deadlines, and what happens when one slips? You will be promising dates to your client on the strength of theirs.
How many revisions are included? This is where margins go. Get it in writing per deliverable.
Is there a minimum number of accounts or a long contract? You should be able to start with one client and leave with notice.
Do you use bots, bought followers or engagement groups?Any yes puts your client's account, and your name, at risk.
First client

Selling social media services for the first time.

If your agency has not sold social before, this order keeps the first engagement small and safe.

  1. Start with a client you already have. Trust is in place, and you know the business.
  2. Offer an audit first. It is low risk, it shows what is wrong, and it writes the scope for you.
  3. Sell one platform. A second account doubles the work, and it is easier to add once the first one shows results.
  4. Write the scope as deliverables: videos, posts, story days, reply hours, one report. Avoid "full management".
  5. Set one approval step and one person on the client side who gives it.
  6. Agree the review date up front. Ninety days is fair for organic social.
  7. Promise the work and the method, never follower numbers.

Who white label is for, and who it is not.

A good fit

Web design and development studios, SEO and PPC agencies, PR firms, brand designers and marketing consultants with clients who sell products or run local businesses. Freelance social media managers who have more work than hours and want the production done behind them.

Not a fit

Agencies that need every platform covered, since we do two. Resellers who promise clients follower growth by a date. Volume buyers looking for the cheapest posts per month, because templated content under your name is a poor trade.

Questions

About white label social media.

What is white label social media management?

It is social media management done by a partner and sold by your agency under its own brand. The partner plans, creates, posts and reports. Your agency owns the client, the contract and the price.

Is white label a tool or a service?

Both exist. White label software is a scheduling and reporting dashboard with your logo. A white label service is a team doing the work. We offer the service, and we can work inside whatever tool your agency already uses.

Will our clients know you exist?

Not from us. Documents carry your brand, access is granted to an address you choose, and we never contact clients. Whether you tell them you work with a specialist partner is your call.

How much does white label social media management cost?

$700 per client account per month, with volume pricing from three accounts. The rate is fixed per client account and depends on scope: platforms, number of videos, story days and reply hours. You set your own price to the client.

Is there a minimum number of clients?

No minimum. One account is a normal place to start. The partnership is designed so that you can start with one client account and add others as you sell them.

How do approvals work?

Each week's content goes to you, or to a shared approval step your client sees under your brand. Nothing is scheduled before approval. You decide whether the client approves directly or through you.

How do you get access to client accounts?

Through roles in Meta Business Suite and TikTok Business Center, granted to an address on your domain or a neutral one. Setting up the Business Suite side is covered in how to link Facebook to Instagram. We never ask for passwords, and access is removed when an engagement ends.

Do you sign an NDA and a non solicitation clause?

Yes, both are part of the partner agreement. We do not approach your clients during the partnership or after it, and we never show white label work as our own.

Can you use our templates and tone of voice?

Yes. Send your strategy, calendar and report templates and we work inside them. If you have none, we supply neutral ones that carry your logo and fonts.

Which platforms do you cover?

Instagram and TikTok. Instagram posts can be mirrored to a connected Facebook Page. For LinkedIn, X, Pinterest or YouTube you will need another partner, and we would sooner say so than do them badly.

Can you do white label audits only?

Yes, and it is the natural place to start. A branded audit of a prospect's account is a strong way to open a conversation about social, and it commits nobody to a retainer.

What happens if our client leaves?

You give notice for that account, we hand over the files and the current calendar, and access is removed. The partnership continues for your other clients.
