Services/Instagram management

Instagram management services, from the bio to the DMs.

We are an Instagram management agency for brands that sell. We run your Instagram account as one system: a profile that explains the business, Reels that reach new people, carousels that teach, stories that sell, and replies that arrive while the buyer is still interested.

What it is

An Instagram account is five surfaces, not one.

Instagram management services are usually sold as a number of posts per month. That describes the output and says nothing about the job, because Instagram is not one feed any more.

A stranger meets your brand in Reels or in search. They check the profile and the grid before they follow. Followers see you mostly in stories. Buyers ask their questions in DMs. Each surface has its own audience, its own job and its own way of failing.

Managing an Instagram account means giving each surface a job, making content for that job, and keeping the five connected, which is the Instagram marketing service on this page. The method behind it is the same as our social media management, applied to one platform in full depth.

Read the label before the price.

Three labels are used for overlapping offers. Before comparing agencies, check which one a quote really describes.

LabelWhat it usually meansWhat to ask
Instagram managementRunning the account day to day: strategy, content, publishing, engagement with comments and DMs, reporting.Who answers messages, who reads the numbers, and whether content creation is included or only scheduling.
Instagram marketingThe wider goal of using Instagram to build a brand and sell. It often adds Instagram ads, influencer marketing and campaigns on top of management. What is organic, what is paid, and who pays the ad spend.
Instagram growth servicesA promise of followers. At the low end this means automation that follows, likes and comments from your account, or bought followers. How the growth is produced. If the answer involves a login and an app acting as you, the account is what is at risk.

Our service is the first, with paid and creator work available next to it. Growth in followers is a result we report, never a product we sell.

First, the Instagram profile. It is your landing page.

Every Reel that works sends strangers to the profile. If the profile does not explain the business in ten seconds, the reach was wasted. We fix it before we post anything.

ElementWhat a stranger does with itWhat we do
Name fieldReads it first. Instagram search reads it too, separately from the handle.Brand name plus what you sell, in the words buyers type.
BioDecides whether the account is for them. What it is, who it is for, where you ship or where you are, and one action.
Links and action buttonsTaps once, if the destination is obvious.Links that match the current content, plus order, book, call or directions buttons.
HighlightsOpens two or three, looking for price, shipping, reviews, how it works.Rebuilt around buying questions, in the order people ask them, with plain covers.
Pinned postsTreats them as the introduction.Three posts that explain the business: what it is, why it is different, how to buy.
The gridScans nine to twelve covers for a sense of quality and focus.Covers designed to be read at thumbnail size. No puzzle grids that break with every post.

Every Instagram format has a job.

An Instagram content strategy starts here. It is easy to post every format for every purpose. We assign them, so each piece of content is made for the people who will actually see it.

FormatWho mostly sees itIts jobHow we use it
ReelsPeople who do not follow you yet.Discovery.One idea per video, the product on screen early, openings tested by retention.
CarouselsFollowers first, then strangers through shares and saves.Teaching and comparison.Product education, care and use, answers to repeated questions, a first slide that earns the swipe.
Single image postsFollowers.Announcements and proof.Launches, restocks, press, a strong product photo with a caption that says something.
StoriesYour most engaged followers.Relationship and sales.Behind the scenes, polls and question boxes, product links, reminders for launches.
Collab postsTwo audiences at once.Borrowed trust. With stockists, makers, neighbors and creators who already use the product.
LiveA small, committed group.Depth.Only when there is a reason: a launch, a demo, a question session.
Every month

What Instagram management includes.

Four posts a week, in the mix the account needs, plus stories on weekdays. That is the plan at $900 a month, and it is deliberately a rhythm a small team can keep for a year.

Volumes differ by plan. The list of work does not.

  • Instagram strategy on one pageAudience, three or four content themes, the job of each format, the posting rhythm and the number we judge the account by.
  • A four week content calendarEvery post with format, topic, hook, caption and date, approved by you before anything is scheduled.
  • Reels editingFrom footage you shoot off our shot list, or footage we direct. Subtitles, covers and on screen text included.
  • Carousel and post designIn your brand fonts and colors, built to be legible on a phone.
  • Story productionA weekly rhythm of story sequences, with stickers that invite a reply.
  • Captions, alt text and hashtagsWritten for buyers and for Instagram search, per post.
  • Comment and DM managementReplies inside agreed hours, saved replies for repeated questions, handover of orders and complaints.
  • Profile upkeepBio, links, highlights and pinned posts reviewed every quarter and before each launch.
  • A monthly Instagram reportIn writing: what went out, what it did, what changes next month.

Instagram search: being found without an ad.

People search Instagram for products, places and answers. The app reads words to decide what to show them, and most business accounts give it very few.

Where words countWhat usually goes wrongWhat we write
Name fieldIt repeats the handle, so the searchable slot is spent on the brand name twice.Brand, then category: what a buyer would type if they had never heard of you.
CaptionsA mood line and ten emojis. Nothing says what the product is.The product, the use and the place in plain sentences, early in the caption.
On screen text and speech in ReelsMusic only, so the video gives the app nothing to read. The topic said out loud and shown as text in the first seconds.
Alt textLeft empty.A plain description of the image, which also serves people who use screen readers.
HashtagsThe same thirty pasted under every post.Up to five per post, Instagram's limit, each describing that post. They label content; they do not push it.
LocationMissing, even for businesses with a front door. The real location on every post that was made there.

The guides go further on each of these, starting with Instagram hashtags for Reels and how to post on Instagram.

Stories and DMs are where Instagram sells.

Reels bring people in. The sale usually happens in the quieter parts of the app, which is why we manage them as carefully as the feed.

Stories

Stories reach the followers who are closest to buying. We plan them in sequences, not single frames: a question, the answer, the product, the link. Polls and question boxes are used because every reply opens a conversation, and because the answers tell us what to post next.

Direct messages

Size, stock, shipping, price, booking. Buyers ask in DMs because it feels faster than email. We answer inside agreed hours, use saved replies for the questions that repeat, and hand orders, refunds and complaints to you with the context attached.

Where Instagram Shopping is available for your account and your catalog, we also keep product tags current on posts, Reels and stories.

The same Instagram service, two kinds of business.

Part of the accountWhat matters mostWhat we do
The goalOrders, and an email list you own.Every content theme leads to a product page or a signup.
ContentThe product in use, by real people, with the details a product page cannot show.Shot lists for founders and staff, customer content with written permission, launch sequences.
CommunityPre purchase questions and post purchase problems, answered quickly.Saved replies for shipping, sizing and returns, handover of order issues.
MeasureLink taps, product page visits, signups, and sales where you share them.A monthly report tied to those numbers, not to followers.

What we read in Instagram Insights.

Each surface has a number that tells the truth about it. Follower count is not one of them, and neither is engagement rate on its own.

ReelsDiscovery
  • Reach among non followers.
  • Retention: the second where viewers leave.
  • Shares and sends, which carry a Reel further.
CarouselsTeaching
  • Saves, the clearest sign of useful content.
  • How far people swipe.
  • Shares to stories and DMs.
StoriesRelationship
  • Replies and sticker taps.
  • Link taps.
  • Where in a sequence people exit.
Profile and DMsIntent
  • Profile visits that turn into follows.
  • Taps on website, call, directions and booking.

Common problems on Instagram accounts.

Illustrative patterns, not taken from a client account.

What goes wrongWhy it costs youThe fix
Every post is a product photo with a price. The account works as a catalog. There is no reason to follow it and nothing worth sharing.Three themes: the product in use, how it is made, answers. Catalog posts become one in four.
Reels made from a trending template. They collect views from people who will never buy, and the product is not in them.Trends only when the product fits naturally. Otherwise plain videos about the product.
Stories are reposts of feed posts. The most engaged followers get nothing new, and they stop tapping through.Stories get their own plan: sequences, polls, questions, links.
DMs are answered on Monday.A weekend question about stock is a sale that went somewhere else.Agreed reply hours, saved replies, and an away message that says when a person will answer.
The highlights are from three years ago.Strangers open them looking for shipping and prices and find a past event.Rebuilt around today's buying questions.
Do it yourself

Instagram management in fifteen minutes a day.

If you run the account yourself, this is the routine we would keep. Short and daily beats long and occasional.

  1. Morning, five minutes: answer every DM and comment from overnight. Buying questions first.
  2. Post what was prepared. Filming and editing happen in one weekly block, never on the day.
  3. Put up one story sequence. Three to five frames with one sticker that invites a reply.
  4. Reply to every story reply. They are the warmest conversations you will have all day.
  5. Evening, five minutes: answer again, and note any question you have now seen twice.
  6. Once a week, film for an hour from a list, edit the same day, and write captions for the week.
  7. Once a week, open Insights. Sort Reels by retention and posts by saves. Keep what leads, drop what trails.
  8. Once a month, turn the repeated questions into a carousel and a highlight.
  9. Once a quarter, open the profile logged out and read it as a stranger. Then run the audit checklist.

If the daily part keeps slipping, that is the usual moment to hand the account over.

Who our Instagram management is for, and who it is not.

A good fit

A brand with a product that can be shown in use, and a target audience of Instagram users who already buy in the category. A local business whose customers look at the account before they book or visit. A founder who has been doing it alone and wants it done properly.

Not a fit

Anyone who wants followers by a date, giveaways as a strategy, or an account that posts without the business being involved. Personal creator accounts. Businesses with nobody who can approve posts or film twenty minutes a week.

Questions

About Instagram management.

What do Instagram management services include?

A strategy, a content calendar, Reels editing, carousel and post design, stories, captions, publishing, comment and DM management, profile upkeep and a monthly report. If a package lists only a number of posts, ask who answers the DMs and who reads the numbers.

How much do Instagram management packages cost?

Instagram management is $900 a month, and Instagram with TikTok is $1,500. The price moves with the amount of video, the number of story days and the hours of replies covered. The pricing page explains what changes the price and how to compare two quotes.

Do you need my Instagram password?

No. We work through a role in Meta Business Suite that you grant and can remove. The account stays yours, with your email, your phone number and your two factor authentication.

Who films the content?

Usually you or your team, from a shot list we write, because the real product and place cannot be faked. It takes less time than people expect. We edit, subtitle, design and caption everything.

How often will you post?

Four posts a week plus stories on weekdays, on the Instagram plan. We choose a rhythm the business can keep for a year, because a steady account does better than one that posts daily for a month and then stops.

Do you guarantee follower growth or engagement?

No, and we would be careful with any Instagram marketing agency that does. Nobody controls what Instagram shows to its users. We commit to the work, the method and an honest monthly report, and we judge the account by buying signals.

Do you buy followers or use bots?

Never. Bought followers do not buy, and they teach Instagram to show your posts to the wrong audience. Automation that follows, likes or messages for you breaks the platform rules and puts the account at risk.

Do you run giveaways?

Rarely. A giveaway brings people who want a free thing, and they have little reason to stay once it ends. We use one only when the prize is the product itself and the entry asks for something useful, such as a question we can answer in content.

Can you work with influencers and creators?

We can plan collab posts and brief creators who already use the product. Creator fees are paid by you directly, with no markup from us. Sourcing creator video at volume is a separate service, UGC content.

Do you run Instagram ads?

Management covers organic content and tells you which posts have earned a budget. Campaigns are run under paid social. Ad spend is always paid by you to Meta.

How long before Instagram management shows results?

Profile fixes and faster replies show within weeks. Content takes longer, because each change needs several posts before it can be judged. We review at ninety days against the starting audit and say so if it is not working.

Do you also manage TikTok?

Yes. TikTok marketing is a separate service, and the two can run under one plan. Video is shot once and edited separately for each platform, because a Reel with a TikTok watermark does neither account any good.

Send the handle.

Every engagement starts with a free written audit of the Instagram account. You get the document either way, and a quote only if you ask.
